Mario Tennis is a sports video game series that began in 1995 with Mario's Tennis for the Virtual Boy. Since then, each successive generation has had two games, one for the console and the second for the handheld platform game. It began on the Nintendo 64 with two games, one for the Nintendo 64 and the other for the Game Boy Color.

Mario Golf is a sports video game series that was developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. Starting with the DS entry, the series has also supported online play. In 1996, Nintendo and Square Soft (developer of the famous Final Fantasy series, now known as Square Enix) teamed up to bring Mario into the RPG genre. The first entry released on the Wii U in 2015. Super Mario Maker is a Mario Level creator inspired by Mario Paint.
